In addition, Mr. Gameng was a strong and well revered student leader. He led the Campus Safety and Transportation Committees of the Boston University Undergraduate Student Government. As chair, his committees compiled a “State of Transportation Systems”, held the first safety walks in school history, help decide where new safety phones were installed, and networked with the Cities of Boston, Brookline, and Cambridge for the safety of pedestrians and bikers of the Boston University campus. Mr. Gameng also served the Boston University community as the Vice President of the Bay State Road Residence Hall Association. As Vice President, he planned cost-effective and fun events for a constituency of 2,500 students with students in each class Freshman to Senior. In these organizations, he learned how to network with people, work in teams, and became an effective leader by building trust and friendship with all those he works with.
